The victim said he noticed the check uttered to the defendant, but did not write it, nor does he even know the defendant. The defendant was captured on video surveillance conducting the transaction.

Investigators allege: The defendant entered a home in Newington Plantation during the night without the victim’s knowledge or consent and stole a number of items, including electronics and jewelry. Several items were identified at Money Man Pawn Shop. The defendant was identified as trying to pawn at least one of the items at that place of business.
