Incident report details: The supervisor of a road widening construction project near Boyle Plantation said he noticed the machine missing on Jan. 31. He said he noticed bulldozer tracks leading from a ditch at the side of the road up to a perpendicular construction road where the tracks stopped. From this point a new set of tracks, possibly tire tracks from a dually truck and trailer led away from that location and toward SC 165. The complainant also found fresh footprints.

Location: Wood Oak Mobile Home Park, Summerville
Date: Jan. 26, 2010
Time of day: Noon – 3:30 p.m.
Items stolen: Two computers, a desktop and a laptop
Total value: $1,300
Incident report details: Victim reported that he believes an unknown subject entered his residence through a loosely fitting rear door and stole his computers. Nothing else appeared missing at the time of the report.

Location: Legend Oaks Subdivision off SC 61, Summerville
Date: Feb.2-3, 2010
Time of day: 9:30 p.m.- 6 a.m.
Items stolen: Firearms, knives, GPS systems, cash, cell phones, and other items
Total value: $1,720
Incident report details: At least five people in the subdivision reported that between the above dates and times someone entered their vehicles and stole the above mentioned items. All the vehicles had been left unlocked.

Date: Jan. 22 – Feb. 3, 2010
Time of day: 5 p.m.- 10 p.m.
Items stolen: Air conditioning units, copper wire
Total value: $4,000
Incident report details: The manager of a construction site reported that someone broke into the construction site trailer and stole air conditioning units as well as ripped out copper wiring, as well as stolen several articles of hardware.
