Location: North Cedar Street, Summerville

Date: Between Jan. 18 and Jan. 19, 2012

Time of day: Between 8:15 p.m. and 9:01 a.m.

Items stolen: Jewelry, money, electronics

Total value: $2,450

Incident report details: Complainant, owner of Little Blue Cottage on North Cedar Street, reported that she secured her business and went home for the night and when she returned she found someone had broken into the business by shattering a rear window. The subject(s) then removed a number of items, including jewelry, some $50 cash from the cash drawer, and two video surveillance cameras. Officers were able to lift latent fingerprints and took them as evidence.

Location: The Village at Summerville, W. 9th North Street, Summerville

Incident report details: Complainant reported that she noticed the safe in her closet was open and upon closer inspection appeared to have been pried open. She said $60 cash was missing from the safe as well. Responding officer observed pry marks on the lid but was unable to lift fingerprints. The complainant does not know when this may have happened or who may be responsible.

Type of theft: Burglary

Location: Pipestone Drive, Barony Ridge, Summerville

Date: Jan. 22, 2012

Time of day: Between noon and 10 p.m.

Items stolen: Television, computer

Total value: $2,665

Incident report details: Complainant returned home to discover his back door open and the television in the living room missing; it was later found in the back yard. He also discovered another television, as well as a laptop computer and a video game system to be missing. Officers were able to lift fingerprints at the scene and took them for evidence.
