The Summerville Police Department and Dorchester County Sheriff's Office announced 13 arrests Tuesday in connection to undercover operations targeting prostitution at two hotels in the North Main Street area.

According to police, six people were arrested resulting from the undercover operation conducted June 8 at the Quality Inn at 1005 Jockey Court.

An additional seven people were arrested resulting from the undercover operation conducted June 27 and 28 at Wyndham Garden Summerville at 120 Holiday Drive.

Arrested were:

Marion Butler, 49, of Norden Street, North Charleston, on a charge of prostitution, third or more;

Sabrina Bachan, 32, of Swamp Angel Court, Charleston, on charges of possession of heroin and possession of cocaine base;

Sara Voyles, 28, of Bayboro Circle, Goose Creek, on a charge of prostitution;

Shawn Barfield, 36, of Hastie Drive, Goose Creek, on a charge of possession of heroin;

Kristen Wegner, 30, of Andrea Lane, Hanahan, on a charge of prostitution;

Barbara Malchevsky, 35, of Harbor Point Drive, Mt. Pleasant, on a charge of prostitution and a charge of possession of heroin;

Joanna Mangano, 29, of Cornell Drive, Ladson, on a charge of prostitution;

Nicholas Mac Arthur, 29, of Timberidge Court, North Charleston, on a charge of prostitution;

Mandy Gilbert, 30, of Plainfield Avenue, Goose Creek, on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, first, and possession of heroin;

Guy Moreland, 23, of Lancaster Street, North Charleston, on a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, first;

Elizabeth Shelley, 26, of Florida Avenue, North Charleston, on a charge of prostitution;

Kayla Halsey, 26, of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, on charges of prostitution and possession of heroin;

Jennifer Day, 35, of Forest Circle, Summerville, on a charge of prostitution.
