On December 20 under cloudless skies, the Annual Summerville Christmas preceded a week late but was still spectacular. Recently, the Summerville Fire Department and Summerville D.R.E.A.M. got together to honor the parade entries that won in four different parade categories. Three judges ( Bonnie Van Etten, Annette Profit and Mathew Profit) had the difficult decision of deciding who deserved the awards. The winners were:

Best Adherence to theme—“A Southern Christmas” : Girl Scout Troop 739

Most Creative:   Palmetto Pony 4-H Club

Most Original:   Summerville Family Practice

Best Overall:     Summerville Medical Center
