Drs. Robert and Gina Colucci have been serving the Summerville community for the past 23 years, utilizing a unique integrative approach of chiropractic, physiotherapy, nutrition, and applied kinesiology to help their patients regain their health naturally.

Dr. Gina Colucci continues to pursue her education in the field of Applied Kinesiology, nutrition, and exercise. Her passion is to make a difference in her patient’s lives and to empower them to take better care of the most precious commodity – their health. As members of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, the doctors provide Corporate Wellness Programs to local businesses and organizations.

Dr. Robert Colucci continues to broaden his education by attending post-graduate seminars and classes in whiplash injury management, clinical nutrition, orthopedics, and low back/disc techniques.

Over the last two decades, their family oriented Wellness Center has built a reputation as one of the most skilled and caring chiropractic offices in the Lowcountry.

Their comprehensive holistic approach allows them to help patients with hormonal problems, sinus/allergies, headaches, sciatica, neck and back pain.

By combining the very best in chiropractic techniques, state-of-the-art physiotherapy, and nutritional supplements on the market, their Wellness Center is able to help their patients to accelerate their journey to good health.

Dr. Dean has been in practice since 1972. He has treated over 60 dentists and/or their family members, which says a lot about his reputation in the dental community. Dr. Dean’s commitment to the highest quality of orthodontic treatment dates back to his first years in practice when he became the first Board-certified orthodontist in the Charleston metro area.         

Dr. Dean is a graduate of Wofford College and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. After serving on the dental faculty at the Medical College of Virginia, he completed their two-year residency program and obtained his specialized certification in orthodontics.

Dr. Dean was inducted into the national scientific honor society, Sigma Zeta. He served for many years on the orthodontic faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Dean is among the small percentage of orthodontists in the United States who have passed the rigorous academic and clinical examinations to earn certification from the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Dean is an avid golfer and fisherman. He is the father of four children: Allison, Harriet, Susan and Charles.

Becky Miller, PA-C and Martha Green, PA-C work as Physician Assistants (PA) with Dr. James Martin. Physician Assistants are Masters level trained practitioners who work under the supervision of a licensed physician.

In general, PA’s can provide 80% of the services typically provided by the physician. Their scope of practice usually corresponds to the supervising physician’s practice.

In Dr. Martin’s office, the PA’s see their own patients providing evaluation and treatment for abnormal pap smears, contraception, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and many other female related problems as well as annual exams.

Becky, who has 25 years experience as a PA, is a graduate of Erskine College and the PA program at MUSC and is married to Dub Green, a research analyst. She is a member of Grace Episcopal Church. In 2004, Ms. Miller was awarded the PA of the Year by the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (SCAPA).

Martha who has 11 years experience as a PA is a graduate of Presbyterian College and the PA program at MUSC. She is married to Jody, an accountant and has 2 children Garrett and Gage. She is a member of St Andrews Parish United Methodist Church and in 2007 was awarded PA of the year by SCAPA.

Dr. Beth Alberto has been practicing audiology since 1979, and has both the education and years of clinical experience necessary to recognize her patient's needs and treat them with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve.

Dr. Alberto has a Masters degree from Bowling Green State University and received her doctorate from the University of Florida.  In her three decades of experience, she has treated hearing impaired children through their high school years, watching with pride as they continued on to college, helped middle age professionals with hearing loss regain their edge at work, and seen many a beleaguered spouse leave her clinic relieved that their wife or husband finally received the hearing treatment they needed. Dr. Alberto also pioneered a new treatment for tinnitus in South Carolina and regularly attends seminars to remain current with the latest research in hearing aids and audiology.

Throughout the years, Dr. Alberto has learned to combine her expert analysis of test results with a keen understanding of her patients’ circumstances and needs. "I treat the whole person, not just their ears." Alberto says.

Dr. James McClary, Jr. moved to Summerville in 1973 when his father completed his Army tour. He graduated from Summerville High School and went on to graduate from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina for his dental studies. After graduating in 1999, he joined his father, Dr. James McClary Sr., a true cornerstone in our community. That union became McClary Family Dental.

Dr. McClary, Jr. and his charming wife, Lynn, have three beautiful children, Holland, Kendall and Olivia. They are both very active within their church, St. Paul’s Episcopal, and enjoy quality family-focused activities. When Dr. McClary Jr. is not out sailing, swimming, or playing at the beach with his family, he can be found out on the golf course (usually with Dr. Myers) or learning a new song on his guitar.

Dr. McClary, Jr. is a warm, caring dentist. He is proficient, professional and widely experienced in all aspects of dentistry. He has the ease and comfortable chair-side manner that keeps even the youngest of patients laughing in the chair. Being able to reach him in an unforeseen time of need is very important to him. Our patients say it is so nice to pass him at the grocery store, in church, or at a favorite restaurant and stop to have a chat.

Dr. Roland Fulcher is a Board Certified Orthodontist who has distinguished himself in his home community over the years.

He graduated number one in his class from the College of Dental Medicine at Medical University of South Carolina and has received many academic and service awards from MUSC and Emory University. He also trained at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia in the treatment of craniofacial syndromes including cleft lip and palate.

He is member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, Charleston Dental Society, and many other dental honor societies and associations. He has served as a professor in the Department of Orthodontics at MUSC since 1990.

Our office offers the most advanced techniques and state of the art treatment in orthodontics. In addition to traditional brackets, we offer Invisalign ™ lingual braces, self-ligating brackets for faster treatment, and specialty appliances. We also use the latest computer programs designed to assist us with diagnosis and treatment planning. We have implemented rigorous sterilization standards and utilize an independent monitoring service for your protection.

Dr. Fulcher believes in living a life dedicated to serving others. He is and Eagle Scout and has been a Rotarian since 1996. Dr. Fulcher lives in Summerville with his wife Kristi and their three children. They are active members of Bethany United Methodist Church. He enjoys spending time with his family on the lake, camping and skiing and also enjoys playing golf in the woods surrounding many of the fine golf courses in the Lowcountry.

Dr. Rayford Quinn has practiced primary care medicine in private and group practice for over thirty years in North Carolina.  Dr. Quinn has recently  returned to South Carolina. He is licensed to practice medicine in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Dr. Quinn’s principal interests are in the diagnosis and management of chronic medical diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease and COPD.    He is particularly interested in the prevention and proactive health care for his patients.

Dr Quinn has active privileges in Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center.  As the primary care physician, he follows and cares for his patients should they be admitted to the hospital.  As a member of a group practice, an on-call doctor is available to patients twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  

Dr. Quinn joined Palmetto Internal Medicine of Summerville in March 2008.   Palmetto Internal Medicine is a full service medical practice offering in-house labs, ultrasounds, echocardiograms and dexascans.  In addition, we offer several clinical studies for patients who meet the criteria.

Dr. Martin is celebrating 25 years of service to Summerville and the surrounding areas. As a solo practitioner he gives his obstetric patients one on one personalized care.

Even after more than 25 years of delivering babies, he says that each baby is special and he enjoys the relationship that is developed with the patient and her family during pregnancy. Dr. Martin also offers comprehensive women’s health care.

He specializes in treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse and minimally invasive surgery. “About 90% of my GYN surgeries are performed vaginally or with the laparoscope. This gives the patient a much faster recovery as well as much less pain.”

He also offers in office endometrial ablations for women with heavy or frequent menses.  Patients find a warm and relaxing atmosphere in his office and are treated like family.

Dr. Martin feels that one of the most important arts of medicine is the art of listening to his patients.

He lives in Summerville with his wife Jan and is active in the community having served on the Board of Trustees at Pinewood Prep and Trident Medical Center, Board of Visitors at Charleston Southern, and is currently on the Board of Directors at Dorchester Children’s Center and serves on the Dorchester County Economic Development board.
