Each day, students stretched, played a warm-up game (such as tag, relay races or races) and later ran for about 15 minutes. The group finished with a cool down and stretch session.
The group’s goal was to run the one-mile kids Cooper River Bridge run in Hampton Park. They met at the park on Friday, along with their principal, Mary Davies, and parents. The students, sporting their new Running Club T-shirts, had a great time running the race and participating in the Bridge Run activities.
