“GOLD is the oldest precious metal known to man, and we are seeing its return to fashion,” states jewelry designer, Judy Hopkins Jacobs of Art Central Gallery.  An admirer of Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, and Anne Taylor, Jacobs' designs are described as simple, elegant sophistication. Jacobs is Art Central Gallery’s April artist of the month.

“I want clean lines, and a combination of stone and metal textures, so that each individual creation will work just as well with denim and tweeds, as with silks and brocades.  I have clients tell me that they are able to wear my designs with multiple outfits, and to many varying occasions…a testament to their versatility. “

To see Ms. Jacobs’ “Gold Rush” collection, visit Art Central Gallery, 130 (Short) Central Ave., Summerville, SC.  (843-871-0297).  To see examples of her jewelry on the Web, visit www.artcgalleryltd.com/JudyJacobs .   For map and directions or for more information about upcoming events, see www.artcgalleryltd.com (843-871-0297).
