Students at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary cannot wait to put their hands on learning when the lesson involves iPads. Tapping into the world of technology, students quickly master the ins and outs of using the device. Not only do students enjoy working with fun and challenging apps, they also conduct research. Finding the central idea with details of support is a breeze when you are taught how to put that information in a colorful animated slide in the Keynote program.  Students also located graphics that illustrated their data and inserted those with creative transitions. The finished products were easily projected onto the classroom system so the entire class can enjoy and learn from the presentations.  Research never looked so amazing and fun!

This is the first year for iPads being introduced at Windsor Hill. They are housed in the school’s media center, available for teachers to access, and maintained by our Instructional Technology Specialist, Kristy Mitchell, who also enjoys  taking her turn at teaching the students at all levels.
