John E. Horlbeck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Horlbeck, Mallory N. Locklear, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Locklear, and David M. Sedell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sedell, received their degrees from Furman University May 9.
The three Summerville natives were among the more than 600 students to be awarded degrees.
Summerville natives named to C of C Dean’s List
Six Summerville natives have been named to the College of Charleston Dean’s List for the 2008-2009 year. These students have earned Highly Distinguished recognition (3.8 GPA) for both the fall and spring semesters while enrolled in at least 14 credit hours. The students are Clarissa Briner, LaTrice Cook, Benjamin Crickenberg, Amanda Epps, Timothy Havens, Meghan Welsh.

Students from Summerville, Ladson and Hanahan were awarded Master’s degrees from the College of Charleston at the school’s May 8 graduation ceremony.
