Fort Dorchester Elementary School business partner, MEDcare Urgent Care, presented a check to FDES Principal Harolyn Hess and PTA president, Annette Gorrell for $3,000. MEDcare Urgent Care doubled the total donations made during the two-week Apple for Apple MEDcare Match campaign. After the dollar-for-dollar match, MEDcare Urgent Care doubled that total to $2,326, and then topped it off with an additional donation to bring the grand total to $3000. FDES students will benefit tremendously from the use of the iPads provided by the generous donations from the community and matched by MEDcare Urgent Care.
