Bryant Smith addresses the Pinewood Middle School during the school’s Martin Luther King Jr. commemoration.

What you can see of an iceberg above the water is just the tip. What lies below the water is the larger base that provides support. This was the beginning of the message on leadership shared in a motivational talk by Bryant K. Smith.

This is the third year that this dynamic speaker has visited Pinewood Prep to share the message of Martin Luther King, Jr.??Smith spoke to the Pinewood high school and middle school students in three different sessions. The focus was on the lessons of leadership. His approach kept the students entertained and interested in the message.  He encouraged them to embrace opportunities to lead and to be sure they did it in a purposeful way. The students were encouraged to dream, believe, and support others as Martin Luther King Jr. had done.?Bryant K. Smith currently serves as the Founder and President of Smith Consulting and Networking a comprehensive training, development, and consulting firm. He is also the author of   “Black Not Blind,” a social commentary on race relations in the United States.

Recruiter, Professor, Author, and Coach are all titles Smith has worn while guiding people to their success in the classroom, in the halls of corporate America, and on and off the basketball court. Now living every day firmly in his purpose and passion, Bryant “helps make good people great and helps great people become memorable.”

Known as outspoken and dynamic, Smith is a highly sought after lecturer and facilitator. Bryant believes he is doing his part to complete a cycle begun by his ancestors; “They were therefore I am. I am therefore we are. We are so that they will be.” Delivering his messages of hope, inspiration and social commentary are his way of passing the torch onto the next generation.
