The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, honored its graduating cadets for completing undergraduate degrees during the 2008-2009 academic year.
U.S. Congressman John M. Spratt Jr. delivered the commencement address to the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and active duty military students who participated in the May 9 graduating ceremony. The following Summerville natives were part of the graduating class:
Alexander Gregory Hall, BS in business administration
Tillman Ulyses Millhouse IV, BS in business administration
Craig Anthony Nettles, BA in criminal justice
James Michael Richardson, BA in criminal justice
The following cadets, three of whom are Summerville natives and one who is a Ladson native, were honored for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2008-2009 academic year.
Alexander Gregory Hall, Summerville, business administration
James Legrand Inabnett, Jr., Summerville, biology
Ryan Allen Matthews, Ladson, criminal justice
James Michael Richardson, Summerville, pre-business
Each of the cadets earned Dean’s List recognition, which is given to those students registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point ratio is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester’s work.
