River Oaks students come through with funds for their community

In one week the students at River Oaks Middle School, in conjunction with the Guidance Department, raised over $660.00 as a community service project.  The money was donated to two service agencies, the Dorchester County Children's Center and the Palmetto House. Pictured here presenting a check for $330.00 to Winnie Crowder, Fund Development Coordinator, Children In Crisis, from the Dorchester Children's Center are Dr. Kathy Sobolewski, principal, Roxanne Kirby, student council president and Sidnei Livingston, student council representative.
