Trident names VP of Medical Affairs
August 18, 2008; Charleston, SC: Trident Medical Center announced today that Lloyd Mandel, M.D. has been named Vice President, Medical Affairs for Trident Medical Center.
Mandel will serve on the administrative team as well as function as liaison with the medical staff at Trident.
A general surgeon, Mandel has been on the medical staff at Trident Medical Center since 1980, serving as Chief of Staff in 1989.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was Ship’s surgeon on the U.S.S. Nimitz. He and his wife, Dianne, have two grown sons.
