Todd Gallati Trident names new CEOOctober 1, 2008; Charleston, SC: Trident Health System announced today that Todd Gallati, FACHE, has been named president and chief executive officer, effective October 27, 2008."We are pleased to have a leader with Todd’s energy and experience to assume the CEO position for Trident Health System,” said D. Eric Bolster, MD, chairman of the board of trustees for Trident Health System. “Todd will provide the guidance required to continue delivery of excellent patient care in the tri-county area and surrounding communities.” Gallati, a proven healthcare executive, brings almost 20 years of experience with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Trident Health System’s parent company. Most recently, he served as President/CEO of Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. This year, Gulf Coast received the Healthgrades Distinguished Hospital Clinical Excellence Award. Prior to joining Gulf Coast in 2000, Gallati was President/CEO of Lake City Medical Center and of Hamilton Medical Center. He began his career in 1989 as an administrative resident at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Gallati earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Business Administration and graduate degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from the University of Florida. ?Gallati is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been active in civic and community affairs including: Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Rotary and the American Heart Association. He and his wife, Sandy, and sons, Ryne and Chad will be relocating in mid-October.
