Trident Health hosts “Diabetes Expo”
October 16, 2008; Charleston, SC: More than 20 million children and adults (about 7 percent of the population) have diabetes, and more than 6 million of those people don’t know they have the condition.Trident Health System will host a “Diabetes Expo” on Wednesday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Trident HealthFinders located in Northwoods Mall. The event is for all adults who have been diagnosed with diabetes.
The “Diabetes Expo” will feature various guest speakers, vendor booths, and free giveaways and educational information about diabetes.
Lunch will be provided at noon for all participants.
