During our lifetime, nearly all individuals will face a time of great vulnerability in which they will need blood.

And that time is all too often unexpected according to the American Red Cross.

On Wednesday, August 13, Summerville Medical Center will host a blood drive for the community from 1 – 6 p.m. at the Inpatient Entrance of the hospital.

If an individual presents to donate, they will be entered into a drawing to win a $1000 gas card that will be held the first of the following month.
