Slavin was previously employed by the hospital as case manager for Trident Medical Center’s ICU. She joined Trident Medical Center in February 2006 as an RN, and transitioned to the Case Management Department in January 2000.    

Slavin is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing in 1995.

In addition, she received her certification in case management through CCMC in 2006.  

Slavin resides in Summerville with her husband, Edwin, and her two children, Abby and Drew.
