38 Local Nurses Receive Certification through Grant Fund
At Trident Health System, 38 local nurses have received certification through the State of South Carolina Incumbent Worker Training Grant. Certification is a component for registered nurses to express their dedication and commitment to professional development. ??“In addition, certification contributes to improved patient safety, and indicates that a nurse is qualified and competent in their specialty area by meeting rigorous requirements to achieve and maintain this expert credential,” said Robin Phillips, staff development director for Trident Health System. ??The nurses who received the recognition from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center and the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses include:
- CCRN – Critical Care Registered Nurse ?Patricia Holland, Amanda McNulty, Brandy Dempsey, Mary Gurganious, Julie David, Jessica Kruael, Leslie Williams, Auryelle Ascue, Erin Brister, Gail Dziamniski, Lisa Haltiwanger and Rachel Roxbrough.
