Diabetes Education and Health Fair Set for Aug. 21 in St. Stephen

Moncks Corner Medical Center is partnering with Curves to encourage the community to take control of its health through a Diabetes Education and Health Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 21 at Redeemed Holiness, 121 Elm St. in St. Stephen.
Diabetes screenings, blood pressure checks and information on stroke signs and symptoms will be available along with information on weight control and exercise. Berkeley County EMS will be on hand to discuss diabetic emergencies.
The event is free, but registration is encouraged by calling Consult-A-Nurse at 843-797-3463.
