Donate Blood and Enter to Win Airline Tickets!
October 13, 2009; Summerville, SC: On Wednesday, October 14,
Summerville Medical Center will host a blood drive for the community
from 1– 6 p.m. in the community classroom of Summerville Medical
Center. If an individual presents to donate, they will be entered into
a regional drawing to win two Delta Airline tickets that will be held
the first of the following month. In addition, Chick-Fil-A coupons will
be available to all donors.
“There is a constant need to replenish the blood supply in the
tri-county area” said Sandy Wallace, medical technologist with
Summerville Medical Center. “Currently, we are in critical need for O
Negative, B Negative and A Negative blood types, but all blood types
are needed to replenish our supply.”
