Donate Blood and Enter to Win a $1000 Gift Card!
Someone in America needs blood every two seconds. On Wednesday, February 17, Summerville Medical Center will host a blood drive for the community from 1– 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. If an individual presents to donate, they will be entered into a drawing to win a $1000 gas card that will be held the first of the following month.
“There is a constant need to replenish the blood supply in the tri-county area” said Sandy Wallace, medical technologist with Summerville Medical Center. “Currently, we are at critical levels for all blood types.”
