North Charleston, S.C. / January 5, 2011- Trident Health has unveiled a new logo and visual identity aimed at highlighting the organization’s strong commitment to the community and wide range of services offered. Trident Health is an HCA hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals, Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center, as well as Moncks Corner Medical Center. Trident Health has dropped the word “system” from its name; all facility names will remain the same.
 
The new logo’s shape reflects the strong relationship Trident’s staff, volunteers and physicians have with the communities they serve. In 2010, Trident Health provided almost $42 million in charity and uncompensated care. They continue to host numerous free screenings and educational events throughout the Tricounty.
 
“This new identity mirrors how far Trident’s hospitals have come over the last few years. We have made a strong commitment to providing the best care available for our patients, and we see the quality results everyday” said Todd Gallati, Trident Health President & CEO.
