Trident Health System Invites YOU to be the Surgeon

On Thursday July 1st from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., individuals will be able to “test drive” hhe da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, ask questions of our medical staff and enter the “Name the Robot” contest where the winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card. Individuals will be able to move the unit’s arms, play with the instruments and experience what surgeons see and feel when they use the robot to operate.
For most patients, the benefits over traditional prostate and gynecological surgery include shorter hospital stays, less pain, less risk of infection, less scarring and faster recovery.
The da Vinci Robotic Surgical System has been featured on the grand finale of Grey’s Anatomy, Good Morning America and other popular shows.
