Trident Health Welcomes Electrophysiologist Specialist

North Charleston, S.C./ February 6, 2012 – Darren Sidney, M.D. has joined Charleston Heart Specialists in North Charleston. Dr. Sidney completed an Electrophysiology and a Cardiology Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. An electrophysiologist is a highly trained cardiologist who specializes in arrhythmias or "irregular beats" of the heart.
Dr. Sidney completed his Internal Medicine Residency from Georgetown Residency Hospital in Washington D.C. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Brooklyn College of Medicine.
