Virginia “Ginny” Christina Cox and Matthew Ray Crim, Jr. are engaged to be married on May 19, 2018, in Key West.
The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth Jones Cox and the late Stephen Albert Cox of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mildred J. DeWitt and the late Haywood Ivan Jones of Pamplico, South Carolina and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Albert Cox of Florence.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Ray Crim, Sr. of Summerville. He is the grandson of the late Lorraine B. Stock and the late Ronald J. Stock of Ladson and of Joyce E. Bowen and the late Glenn R. Bowen of Hannibal, Missouri.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina and earned her master’s in business administration in 2011. She is employed by Santee Cooper.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Stratford High School and a 2009 graduate of The Citadel. He is employed by DC Machine.
