The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is very excited to announce that their Citizen’s Police Academy is back! The department is planning to begin on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 6:00PM. It will run every Wednesday through May 17 and close out with one final class and graduation on May 20. If you have interest in learning about the operations of the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, we can give you a front row seat!!
The DCSO will be covering many facets of the things we do every day. These will include Patrol, Investigations, Special Operations, Juvenile law, Traffic, Crime Analysis, and Public Information, just to name a few. They will also have opportunities for the academy students to do Ride-Alongs with our Patrol deputies.
