Berlin G. Myers Parkway Litter.  I just completed picking up litter two afternoons on both sides of the Berlin Myers Parkway from Gahagan Road to Ashley Drive.  You have no idea how much trash is out there until you start picking it up.  I filled approximately 16 bags with trash not counting the large pieces of cardboard, storage container tops, headlights, wheel covers, etc. from down in the ditches.

To my friends, relatives, and those who observed me.  I was not doing Community Service as a result of being arrested.  I just got tired of seeing all of the unsightly litter.  Then there was a young man riding in the back of a Blue Dodge 4x4 who yelled “Hey, you missed one” and threw a Coke at me.  Due to the excessive speed I could not get your tag number so I could contact you and thank you personally for the litter and hand gesture!
