Judy,
Apparently, at this last Third Thursday (while I was out on vacation) DREAM wound up having one of the A Frame signs that we set up on the street corners to advertise Third Thursday (as well as our other events) taken –perhaps during the event. Jan and our intern set up the sign on the corner of W. Richardson and Cedar and put balloons on it in the afternoon before the event. When Jan went to collect the sign after Third Thursday ended, it was not there. Asking the nearby shops if they knew anything about the missing sign, one person confirmed seeing the sign out there around 6:30pm. These A Frame signs are heavy and not easily picked up and walked off with, so it is very perplexing. I was wondering if you would put a small notice in the paper saying that the sign was missing from the event and asking for any information. Perhaps someone picked it up to take it in when the rain came. We would just like to get it back if possible as the sign is worth several hundred dollars to us and we use it a lot as well as lending it to other non-profits. We would appreciate anything you could do for us in the paper.
Many thanks,
Susan
