Dear Editor
First of all, I’m really excited about my opportunity to play football for the University of Kentucky. I have dreamed of this day and I feel very fortunate to be able to go on to the next level.
I would like to thank all of the teachers, coaches and administrators that I have had while at Summerville High, Pinewood Prep and Palmetto Academy. Without their efforts and guidance I wouldn’t be where I am today. I would like to also thank my teammates for believing in me and supporting me every step of the way.
Although all of my teachers and coaches played a role in helping me reach this goal, there are a few that I would like to personally recognize.
They are:
• Ms. Toliver - for all of your help in the Guidance Department.
• Ms. Campbell & Ms. Roberts - thank you both for the academic assistance and moral support that you have given me and so many other students here at our school.
• Coach Giet – he was my first coach at Summerville on the B-team. He is a great coach and an even better man.
• Coach Pinky Guerard – it was an honor to play for him at Summerville and while at Pinewood Prep. I learned a lot from him and I will never forget him.
• Coach Kafina – for always staying after me both in the classroom and on the field. He is everything a Coach should be…and then some!
• Coach Call – for believing in me and for helping me through difficult times. He also helped me a great deal with working through the recruiting process. Thanks Coach.
• Coach Cuda – Now I know why my Dad viewed you as one of the best Coaches from his time spent here at Summerville. Thanks for all of your help and guidance.
• And last but not least, I would like to thank Coach Mckissick, for giving me the opportunity to play here at Summerville High School. It’s an experience that I will carry with me for a lifetime.
