WE DID IT! The Dorchester District 2 School Improvement Bond Referendum passed with overwhelming support! Thank you to the citizens of our area who voted yes for safer schools, yes for more vocational education, yes for creating appropriate learning spaces, and yes for maintaining smaller class sizes. The school district is already moving forward with the planning process to get these vital construction and renovation projects started as soon as possible. With these changes all of our students and teachers will have a safer, more appropriate learning environment that matches the “Excellent” rating they recently received on the South Carolina Board of Education district report card. We are so proud to be a part of a community of citizens that puts our children first.
