Army Sgt. 1st Class Ryan R. Robida has arrived for duty at the Coralville Recruiting Station, Iowa.
Robida, a recruiter with 14 years of military service, is assigned to the Minneapolis Recruiting Battalion.
He is the son of Christine Robida of Elliott Drive, Ladson, S.C., and Bob Robida of Shallow Creek Drive, Olive Branch, Miss.
The sergeant first class graduated in 1996 from Fort Dorchester High School, North Charleston, S.C., and received a bachelor's degree in 2010 from Grantham University, Kansas City, Mo. He earned a master's degree in 2011 from Columbia Southern University, Osage Beach, Ala.
