Benjamin H. Patterson was recently promoted to Sgt. First Class in the U.S. Army. After a tour in Iraq he is now stationed at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. where he is serving as a drill instructor. He is a 200 graduate of Summerville High School. Benjamin is the son of Michael and Susan Patterson of Summerville, S.C.

“We would like to take this time to tell you how very proud we are of you, we love you,” Mr. and Mrs. Patterson said. “Also, to all our soldiers, we thank you for your service and you’re always in our thoughts and prayers. Stay safe and come home soon.”
