Festival organizers are accepting applications for arts and crafts vendors to sell their wares during the 38th Annual Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival, March 26-28, 2010. Approximately 200 applicants will be selected through a juried process which will occur in January 2010. Applications may be downloaded by visiting summervilleymca.org, entering the Festival site and then clicking on the applications page or via email request. The application deadline is December 14. ?Established in 1972, by the Young Women’s Christian Organization (YWCO), the Flowertown Festival continues to support its mission to raise funds for the Summerville Family YMCA. With the Festival proceeds raised over the years, the YMCA has been able to establish numerous youth and adult programs and build three facilities for Summerville’s citizens. The Flowertown Festival is one of the Southeast’s largest outdoor festivals and 2010 marks 38 years of the award-winning fundraiser. The free three-day event attracts over 200,000 people who come out to enjoy the food, arts and crafts vendors, children’s rides and of course the Town’s magnificent flowers and hospitality. For more information about becoming an arts and crafts vendor, please contact Liz Graham (843)871-9622 x 124 or visit SummervilleYMCA.org.
