The Carolina Pit Masters is bringing a professional BBQ cooking school to the South Carolina Lowcountry. Spend a weekend learning the fine art of preparing southern BBQ while helping great causes such as The Dorchester Shrine Club and Summerville Miracle League.

Led by award winning instructors that include “the 2008 Best of the Best Grand Champion and 2008 South Carolina State Champion,” Grand Champion Pit Masters Jack Waiboer and Russ Cornette, the Carolina Pit Masters BBQ Cooking School provides the opportunity to learn the art of preparing southern BBQ while raising money for worthy causes. This two-day event is the longest running school in the state and the only school of its kind that has produced several barbecue champions.  It puts participants in the middle of a simulated BBQ competition to learn the low and slow methods of smoking meat that makes BBQ one of America’s favorite eats. As part of a team, students actively participate in planning, selecting, preparing, cooking and presenting five types of BBQ; Chicken, Ribs, Pork Shoulder, Beef Brisket and the ultimate challenge, Whole Hog. Judging will take place with an open judging session with experienced certified BBQ judges.

Whether you cook BBQ for family and friends or cook competitively, the Carolina Pit Masters BBQ Cooking School can help you improve your BBQ skills. Give the gift that gives back. Sign up to attend the Carolina Pit Masters BBQ Cooking School being held in Summerville, South Carolina on March 9th and 10th and you can become a barbecue champion.

Request your application now as space is limited. Call Jack Waiboer at (843) 270-8430, or email Carolinapitmasters@gmail.com or visit CarolinaPitMasters.com for information and to enroll today.

The Carolina Pit Masters are a group of professional barbeque cooks with common beliefs in giving back to the community and preserving the heritage of traditional barbeque. Caroline Pit Masters partner with charitable organizations to assist in fundraising activities and teaching the joy of cooking southern barbeque.
