DCSO looking into apartment burglaries

  • Monday, January 14, 2013

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is looking into several burglaries that occurred last week at a North Charleston apartment complex.
According to several DCSO incident reports, at least four apartments – 108 B, C, D, and F Shagbark Trail, were broken into shortly before and shortly after noon on December 5. In each incident, the subject(s) made entry by prying open the rear sliding glass doors of each apartment. Once inside, the subjects ransacked the apartments, taking several laptop computers, gaming systems, and portable electronics.
The apartments were all in the same building and adjacent to each other.
None of the victims could provide any names of possible suspects. Officers were unable to lift latent fingerprints at the scenes.
The investigation continues.
