Home Depot is supporting its community by hosting Bond and Build Workshops for families with children with disabilities at their Summerville location.  These workshops allow children with disabilities to work on a project with their parents and Home Depot volunteers.  They make bird houses, tool boxes and many other interesting projects.

Nicole Bougie, whose daughter, Makayla, has attended the workshop, states, “This is a great opportunity for our kids. I have such a great time building things with my daughter.  It is such a nice change from constant doctor and therapy appointments.  We are very grateful for Home Depot.”

The workshops are held the second Tuesday of every other month from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Home Depot location off 17A in Summerville.  The next workshop is on Tuesday, February 9.  The workshop is free, but registration is required.  Please call Meagan at 556-5010 to register.
