Patrick C. Labbe, of Summerville, has been appointed as the South Carolina state coordinator for Progressive Democrats of America today.
Labbe also serves as the Chairperson for the Dorchester Progressive Democrats and has been involved in political organizing since going door-to-door for Senator Eugene McCarthy's Presidential Campaign in 1968 at 11 years old.
Mr. Labbe stated his goal for South Carolina “is to build 10 chapters in the coming months in South Carolina from the midlands to the Pee Dee, from the Lowcountry to the Grand Strand and from the Mountains to the Piedmont.”

In response to "The truth" .... Our last name is Rosenzweig not Rosenberg. My husband majored in Business Administration in college and has a small business from which he tries to make a living, a profit and provide employment for other people. We are NOT Communists. It is possible that you have confused us with the Rosenbergs, Ethel & Julius, who were convicted of being Communist spys in the 1950's. We are NOT related. And, it is now 2009.
