Merchants in Historic Downtown Summerville will be open tomorrow night until 8 p.m. with special discounts and sweet treats for this month’s Thursday Theme Night.

November Theme Night Thursday

Nov. 29, 5 – 8 pm

Summerville DREAM and our downtown merchants present their November Theme Night Thursday, November 29th, from 5 to 8 pm. Thursday Theme Nights are Summerville’s time to shine a light on special folks in the community. This Thursday, in keeping with the November Veteran’s Day holiday, thanks to our military men and women is the focus.
Merchants and restaurants are open late and many will be participating in We’re Sweet on Our Military, each paying tribute in their own way. Some businesses will have candy treats and extend discounts ranging from 10 to 20% as a thank you. You will be able to identify participating businesses by the Open Late - We’re Sweet on Our Military flyer in their windows.
“We cannot show enough appreciation and gratitude for our brave and selfless Armed Forces, and are happy to participate in this evening”, says Natalie Sober of A Very Little Bookstore on Main Street.
Retired and active duty military, their families and friends are invited to take a stroll around town on this evening. Let the business owners know who you are so they can say thank you for your service.  Also pick up a little green goodie bag at People, Places & Quilts, A Very Little Bookstore or Four Green Fields Gallery.
The town and businesses are all decked out for the holidays and just waiting for you to stop by. Make a night of it--come shop and dine in Downtown Summerville this Thursday evening!
Thursday Theme Nights will take a break in December but will return in January. If your group or organization would like to be a part of our Thursday Theme Nights, contact the Summerville DREAM office at 821-7260.
