The Summerville Oakbrook Rotary Club’s annual Oysterfest is planned for Feb. 6 at Wescott Plantation from 6 to 10 p.m. The event, held under three giant party tents and in the golf clubhouse, features more than oysters with Roy Judy’s “world’s best” catfish stew and shrimp and grits by Wescott Plantation – favorites for those who aren’t into the large single select oysters.
Oysterfest also features a double dance floor and the music of the Coppertones. Come shag to some of the best music in the Lowcountry.
A silent auction has up for bids vacation trips, dinners, wine and liquor baskets, home accessories, jewelry and much more.
The Club also has tickets for a cruise drawing at $10 each.
For tickets call Mike Bogart at 822-0147, or purchase online at www.summervilleoakbrookrotary.org
