The Summerville Police Department is looking for two parents in connection with the homicide of their thirteen-year-old child.

SPD Capt. Jon Rogers said officers responded to a call at a residence at 1925 Bacons Bridge Road regarding an unresponsive juvenile male. Upon arrival, the juvenile was evaluated and declared deceased. An autopsy revealed that the manner of death was homicide, caused by malnutrition and neglect, Rogers said.

Both the mother, Kimberly Marie Love, 32, and stepfather, Jason Monroe Buckley 29, of Summerville, are now wanted for murder in connection with the death of the child, Rogers said.

Love and Buckley have family members residing in the tri-county area and their whereabouts are unknown at this time, Rogers said. Love and Buckley could possibly be in a White 2003 Chevrolet Pickup bearing SC license plate DII170 or a Black 1992 Isuzu Rodeo bearing SC license plate GNM727.

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Love and Buckley please notify Summerville Police Department at 843-875-1650 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
