Mary Jane Redman Davis, of Summerville, SC, widow of George Francis Davis, entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, February 10, 2012 at Bethany United Methodist Church at 11 o’clock. Visitation will be held at the church Friday morning from 10 o’clock until the time of service. Interment will be held in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens in Marion, OH on Monday, February 13, 2012 after a visitation from 10 – 12 o’clock at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 S. Center St., Cardington, OH.  Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 118 W. 3rd South St., Summerville, SC 29483, or to Fairview United Methodist Church, c/o Dana Keen, 930 County Rd. 148, Cardington, OH 43315.

Mrs. Davis was born October 4, 1929 in Marion, OH, a daughter of Pearl Redman and Bertha Fisher Redman. She was a homemaker, cosmetologist, and Real Estate agent. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

  She is survived by her  two sons, George Robert Davis (Linda) of Columbia, SC and Steven Lee Davis (Maureen) of Troy, NY; three daughters, Nancy Jo Harple of Round Lake, NY, Mary Lynn Smith (Bill) of Summerville, SC, and Susan Ann Davis of Troy, NY; one sister,  Dorthy Jean Van Houten of Cardington, OH; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
