Maureen McLean Godwin, 59, of Summerville, SC, wife of Marion Franklin Godwin, II, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at a Summerville hospital.
A memorial service will be held Saturday morning, August 7, 2010 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 11 o’clock. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders USA, PO Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 2174.
Mrs. Godwin was born May 19, 1951 in Bronxville, NY, a daughter of the late James D. McLean and Alma Cox McLean. She was a counselor for the Department of Mental Health.
Survivors include her husband, Marion Godwin, II of Summerville; one step-son, Marion F. Godwin, III of Lexington Park, MD; one sister, Joan McLean of Scarsdale, NY and one brother, James D. McLean, Jr., of Ft. Worth, TX. Arrangements by Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
