Martha Alice Locker Harman, 80, of North Charleston, widow of Calvin Harman, died Thursday, July 29, 2010.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, July 31, 2010 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 11 o’clock. Burial was in Summerville Cemetery. Visitation was held from 9:30 until time of the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials made to the Salvation Army, P. O. Drawer 22587, Charleston, SC 29413.
Mrs. Harman was born April 30, 1930 in Fayetteville, TN, a daughter of the late John Locker and Laura Henderson Locker. She was a retired teacher’s assistant in the Berkeley County schools.
Survivors include one daughter, Amy H. Sarvis of North Charleston; three sons, John David Harman of Goose Creek, Robert “Bob” Harman of NC, Howard Harman of TN; eight grandchildren, Davida Harman, Chris Harman, Jaime Thomson, Amanda Harman, Ashley Hodges, Jason Hodges, Wesley Sarvis, Martha Sarvis; one great-grandson, Aiden Moreland.
