Elaine Kirven-Hoffmire, 64, of Summerville, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her residence. Ms. Kirven-Hoffmire was born January 5, 1948 in Charleston, the daughter of the late Benjamin V. Kirven and Lilbren (Libby) Kelly Kirven of Summerville. She worked tirelessly at the Summerville Belk and Lowes stores and was looking forward to retirement in January 2013. She loved gardening and her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Baird Hoffmire, of James Island; his wife, Jane Devilbiss; their two daughters, Sadie and Harper Hoffmire; her daughter, Farrah Hoffmire, of Charleston, and her husband, Mitchell Davis.

A memorial celebration of Elaine’s life will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 from 3 until 5pm at St. Paul's Doar Hall Atrium located at 316 W. Carolina Avenue, Summerville SC 29483
