Sara McAlpine, age 57, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at Hallmark Healthcare in Summerville.
Ms. McAlpine was born in Conway, a daughter of the late James P. McAlpine and Lenore Barger McAlpine. She was formerly of Conway and lived in the Lois Eargle Home for several years before moving to the Hallmark Healthcare Center in Summerville.
Surviving are three sisters, Marcia McElheny of Summerville, Janet Bender of Goose Creek and Nancy Lee of Conway; four nieces, Stacy Sansbury, Katie Brookshire, Laura Patterson and Amy Garver and two nephews, Jason Lee and Ryan McElheny.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Comway Chapel, with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery.
