Edith Jeanne Fuller Miler, 81, of Summerville, SC, widow of Daniel Sherwood Miler, Jr., died Sunday, January 15, 2012.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday afternoon, January 21, 2012 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 3 o’clock. Reception immediately following the service in Doar Hall.

Mrs. Miler was born April 24, 1930 in Provo, Utah, daughter of Col. Lavonia Wilkins Fuller (USAR) and Edith Farrer Fuller. She graduated from high school in Yokohama, Japan. She attended Flora McDonald College in Red Springs, NC, where she met her beloved husband. She also attended Baptist College (Charleston Southern University). She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where she faithfully served in many capacities. Mrs. Miler was a former librarian for Timrod Library, Knightsville Elementary School Library, a realtor with Miler Properties, loving wife and beloved mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her four children, Daniel Sherwood Miler III (Julie S.), Jan Miler Marchand (Lt. Cdr. Richard L.), Richard Lee Miler (Debbie J.), and Lucia Miler Campbell (J. Scott) all of Summerville, SC; thirteen grandchildren, Gibbon Miler, Sherwood Miler IV, Chandler Miler, Sloan Miler, Gregg Davis (Jason), Elliott Swanson, Simons Swanson, Adriane Miler, Caroline Miler, Elizabeth Miler, Jennifer Crocker (Edward), John Campbell, Taylor Campbell; one brother, Richard F. Fuller (Ann) of Santa Ana, CA; brother-in-law, Lt. Col. Edward H. Miler, USAR (Francine) of Summerville, SC. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Miler was predeceased by two brothers, Perry L. Fuller and Robert Paul Fuller.
