Folk, Steven

Steven McMillian Folk, 46, of Summerville, SC, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at a local hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, May 11, 2008 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 3 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Francis Willis SPCA, P. O. Box 1116, Summerville, SC 29484.

Mr. Folk was born July 20, 1961 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late William Daniel Folk, Sr. and Gail Snipes Folk. He was service manager for Strobel Tires.

Survivors include his mother, Gail Folk of Summerville; two brothers, William Dan Folk of Huntsville, AL and John Folk of Summerville; two nephews, Justin and Zachary Folk; one niece, Abbie Folk; and four aunts, Naomi Dixson of Charleston, Johnnie Hayes of Myrtle Beach, Ernestine Hook of Yorktown, VA and Rocky Flowers of Marion, SC.
