A Mother's Day Gift

For Denise Williams and her family -- this is a fresh start. For the many who helped place her in a new home - it was a gift. Every year, women across Summerville and the nation gather to build a home for a family in need during the Habitat for Humanity National Women Build Week.

A world-wide organization, Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to bringing housing to families unable to find decent housing at an affordable cost. During the women build at least 75% of the work is done by women -- many who have families of their own.

Mothers help mothers before the day that celebrates them all -- Mother's Day!
